Downloading a user, smart card or server certificate

User, server or smart card certificates can be downloaded with this action.

The generated file may be in one of these formats:

• PEM (ASCII format - Base64 encoding),
• DER (binary),
• P12 (encrypted binary).

To download a user, smart card or server certificate:

1. Select it from the list on the left.
2. Click on Download.
3. Select Certificate as a PEM file, Certificate as a DER file or Certificate as a P12 file, depending on the desired export format.
4. Set the password that will protect the private key included in the export file.
5. Confirm the password.
   A progress bar will indicate the strength of the password.
6. Click on Download certificate (format).
7. Click on the link to download the file.
