Groups tab
This tab consists of two separate parts:
- The list of web service groups on the left side of the screen,
- The properties of the selected group on the right side of the screen.
List of groups grid
This grid contains:
- The predefined groups containing official web services (e.g., remote access, cloud computing, web conferencing),
- Custom groups, if any, meant to contain custom web services. Such groups are manually created by the administrator.
Possible actions in the service group grid
Enter a filter | Enter a sequence of letters found in the name of the web service groups you are looking for, to restrict the display to these groups. |
Select all | By clicking on this button, all service groups found in the grid will be selected. |
Add |
This button makes it possible to create a new blank custom group:

Rename |
This action is allowed only for custom groups.

Delete |
This action is allowed only for custom groups.

This button allows you to check whether a web service group listed in the grid is used in the firewall's configuration:

Viewing the contents of a service group
When you scroll over a group, a tooltip shows its properties:
- Name: the name of the group, e.g., Microsoft,
- Read only: indicates whether the group can be renamed or deleted. Official web service groups are always in read-only mode.
- Members of the group: lists the web services included in the group.
Editing the contents of a service group
Double-click on the group you want to edit.
NOTE
Only custom groups can be edited.
Details of the group are displayed in Properties:
Comments | Enter comments for the group if necessary. These comments are immediately applied (they appear automatically in the service group grid). |
Select all |
By clicking on this button, all services found in the group will be selected so that a common action can be applied to all of them (Delete). |
Add |
This button makes it possible to add services or service groups to the custom group being edited:
