Downloading the installer for macOS

This section explains where to download the Stormshield SSL VPN client installer for macOS operating systems.

1. The installation package (.pkg file) of the Stormshield SSL VPN client can be downloaded from:

   • The Stormshield SSL VPN website,

   • Your MyStormshield area in Downloads > Downloads > Stormshield Network Security > SSL VPN.

2. Check the integrity of the downloaded file:

   1. In a terminal, retrieve the hash of the installation package with the command:

      shasum -a 256 <filename>

      Replace <filename> with the name of the downloaded .pkg file.

   2. Compare the result with the visible hash from:

      • The Stormshield SSL VPN website, SHA256 button;

      • Your MyStormshield area, SHA256 column in the download table.

      Hashes have to be identical.
