Getting started
When the bypass function found on some SNS firewalls is enabled (ready to be triggered), during critical hardware and software failures, including when the firewall no longer has power supply, network traffic is channeled between both ports from the same segment without being analyzed.
This function enables service continuity in sensitive environments. Do note, however, that due to the way they operate, interface aggregates and high availability features on SNS firewalls are incompatible with the bypass function.
