Disabling automatic protection on folders

- When the contents of a folder that was previously confidential and protected can now be shared freely. When you wish to remove protection on a folder so that the files you put into it will no longer be protected. When you wish to remove protection on a folder so that the files you put into it will no longer be protected.
To disable automatic protection on folders
- From Windows explorer, right-click on the folder on which you wish to disable automatic protection. This folder must not be located in a synchronized space that was automatically protected by the administrator, and you must be authorized to access it.
- Select Stormshield Data Security > Disable automatic protection.
When you disable protection from a folder, the files that it contains remain protected. However, all new files that you add to it will no longer be systematically protected.
