Protecting the contents of a folder and managing access to it

This feature is not available on macOS.

You can protect access to all files and sub-folders contained in a folder. There are various ways to do so in SDS for C&M:

  • When you wish to protect the contents of a folder from time to time, but do not want new files added to this folder to be systematically protected. Use the same procedure for protecting files. For more information, please refer to the section Protecting access to files.
  • When you want your protected folder to contain only protected files and sub-folders. Enable automatic protection on your folder so that each new file added to this folder will be systematically protected. For more information, please refer to the section Automatically protecting folder contents.
