Viewing alarms on the license
The SDMC dashboard contains an Alarms tile, which displays information about alarms. Ordinarily, this tile is grayed out. Whenever the SDMC server raises an alarm, it will turn into the color of the alarm of the highest level.
There are three levels of severity in SDMC:
- Critical (red)
- Warning (yellow)
- Information (gray)

- In the server's administration interface, select the Alarms menu on the left.

SDMC raises alarms in the following cases:
The recovery user has not been defined: A critical alarm will be raised if you are in built-in key management mode. To resolve this issue, register the SDMC security administrator. License expired: A critical alarm has been raised. To resolve this issue, import a valid license.
License about to expire: Beginning 30 days before the expiration of the license, a warning alarm will be raised. To resolve this issue, import a license that is valid for more than 30 days.
No more user licenses are available: A critical alarm has been raised. To resolve this issue, import a license that allows more user accounts, or delete inactive users in order to release their licenses.
No more smart card user licenses are available: A critical alarm has been raised. To resolve this issue, import a license that allows more smart card user accounts, or delete inactive smart card users in order to release their licenses.
Almost no more user licenses available: A warning alarm is raised whenever fewer than 5 authorized users are left for a license of more than 5 users, or if fewer than 2 authorized users are left for a 5-user license. To resolve this issue, import a license that allows more user accounts, or delete inactive users in order to release their licenses.
Almost no more smart card user licenses are available: A warning alarm is raised whenever fewer than 5 authorized smart card users are left for a license of more than 5 users, or if fewer than 2 authorized smart card users are left for a 5-user license. To resolve this issue, import a license that allows more user accounts, or delete inactive users in order to release their licenses.
