SES Life Cycle management policy
This document sets out the management policy for the life cycle of SES Evolution products by elaborating on its standard stages. Its goal is to provide maximum visibility over how products in the SES Evolution range will evolve.

Stormshield is a brand of security solutions. As such, our mission is to provide our clients with high-quality products capable of meeting their expectations and requirements in terms of security, robustness and performance.
The quality of Stormshield Endpoint Security software is ensured by the definition and implementation of clear and documented processes. This document indicates the stages in the life cycle of our products and the associated rules.
General points on product life cycle
SES software is deemed as supported when the version has been tested and validated by our quality teams and runs as expected with all supported operating systems.
For SES products, three types of software versions are identified.
Major versions (X.Y)
These versions include new major features. They can also include fixes.
Minor versions (X.Y.Z)
These versions essentially include feature enhancements. They can also include fixes.
If there are fixes, they are always included in the version following the current major version. For example, a problem detected in version 7.2.21 is fixed in version 7.2.22 or higher.
